What Is Good?

My Toastmasters’ meeting on Zoom had ended. A few of us stayed around to talk. We kicked ideas around. There was one non-member in attendance, Iana’s daughter, aged 6 or 7, who stayed at her mother’s side to listen in to the conversation. One member asked an interesting question of the group. “What do you think of when you think of something good?” It was a thought-provoking question. Iana laughed, however, as she looked at her little girl. She said, “I’m laughing because when my daughter heard the question she answered ‘a donut.’” There it was, the only good answer.
